Smoothie With Bananas, Tahini And Dates

Comforting and unctuous: these are the words that best characterize this smoothie. Sometimes you want to barter green or fruity smoothies for a slightly more decadent version, similar to a dessert. Because it is not because we pay attention to our food that we must be satisfied with green vegetables and berries. Tahini (sesame puree) is rich in fiber and protein and is ideal for a vegetarian or vegan diet. It can be served in salty and sweet dishes, in smoothies, biscuits or in a creamy sauce to accompany the kale salad. A must-have for the pantry.

Smoothie With Bananas

  • 2 frozen ripe bananas
  • A ¼ cup of tahini (sesame paste)
  • 2 organic PRANA Medjool dates, pitted
  • a pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups of almond milk
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • ¼ cup mixed PRANA organic nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios) lightly roasted - optional
  • 1 C. ORGANIC wholegrain PRANA sesame seeds - optional

In the mixer bowl, remove all ingredients except nuts and blend until smooth and creamy. If you do not use frozen bananas, add 2 or 3 ice cubes when mixing.

Grill sesame nuts and seeds in the oven or small pan for a few minutes, coarsely chop and serve as a smoothie topping.
